And while timely access to quality healthcare is an important foundation, it is ultimately one strand in a web of factors that work together to support a healthy population.
For example, housing quality, levels of pollution and access to affordable fresh food, can also significantly impact the health and quality of life of our population.
With professionals and the wider population alike increasingly keen to engage with the health innovation and excellence being pioneered across all corners of the UK, we’re on a mission to discover the diverse initiatives that are helping to build a healthier Britain.

Our 2027 categories have been designed to enable a wide range of organisations and individuals to showcase their achievements - quite simply, if you’re working to improve the health of people in the UK, we’d like to hear from you.
